Dream Droll: Sleepy Satire
Writing the Satire
Dreams are satires haze – droll them sleepy. Target a sleep: “Dream says fly – I fall.” Hit the weird – clouds, flights: “Night says peace – I wrestle.” Keep it odd – tame flops. Write: “Sleep says rest – I run.” Freuds oddities inspire. Start yours: “Dream says win – I wake.” Practice turns snooze into snickers.
Teaching the Technique
Teach dream jabs with a haze twist. Give “fly dream” – twist: “Flew so high, I crashed!” Show Freud clips – weird, zing. Steps: sleep, quirk, jab. Assign “rest flop” – spark: “Flop so deep, I fought!” Discuss zip: odd wins. Warn off dull – droll rules. Droll-off: pitch a sleepy, best snicker wins. Dreams are fog – teach them to fog it.
