Satire Reel Deal: Audience Aim and Ammo
Writing the Satire
Audience is satires bullseye – aim true. Target a crowd: “Teens love rules – chaos says hi.” Hit their vibe – young, old: “Boomers say chill – they rage.” Keep it theirs – off flops. Write: “Fans cheer loss – wins dull.” Kimmels crowd work inspires. Start yours: “Kids hate naps – Im out.” Practice turns ears into zingers.
Teaching the Technique
Teach audience jabs with a vibe twist. Give “kid fad” – twist: “Fad so cool, Im square!” Show Kimmel clips – crowd, zing. Steps: who, quirk, jab. Assign “old rant” – spark: “Old so hip, Im lame!” Discuss hit: theirs wins. Warn off miss – aim rules. Aim-off: pitch a jab, best ammo wins. Crowds a target – teach them to nail it.
